Evan's Homecoming
Evan came back from Afghanistan to CT today!
Here are all the pictures from the day but here are some highlights.
We decorated the house with flags, and Barkley supervised all the work:
The whole group came back on two planes, and the airport firefighters sprayed the planes with water as they went by:
As they got off the plane, they got in line to shake hands with the VIPs that came to welcome them back:

Grandparents and friends were there to meet him:
Marisa seemed glad to see him, too
More friends were waiting at the house for spaghetti
And Evan brought back a gift for Grandma and Grandpa -- an Afghani flag signed by all the guys at his base:
We're so happy to have him back with us.
